Amsterdam Skills Centre

In the Amsterdam Skills Centre for Health Sciences (ASC) the Amsterdam UMC joined people and resources with industry & education partners to increase patient safety by medical training, education and R&D. Surgeons, medical specialists, residents, OR technicians and allied health care professionals are trained in a non-patient environment, employing the best anatomical and digital learning environments. The scope of this training centre is global – making a difference for all people, near and far, across all borders. The ASC opened in 2019, yearly trains 4.000 surgeons from more than 60 countries and is currently rolling out the next generation medical learning-platform.
